LEWISTON — The Annual State Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention will be held June 14-16, with headquarters at the Ramada Inn.

The Joint Opening Session will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, with the business session from 2:30 to 5 p.m. This is a special year because the State VFW became an “All American” Department on May 8 for the first time in six years under David D. Williams, state commander from Rumford VFW Post 1641.

Representing the National Veterans of Foreign Wars headquarters from Kansas City, Mo. is Robert “Bob” Greene, quartermaster general of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
