WILTON — The Planning Board will continue its review of a new subdivision application and consider a building permit for a 6,000-square-foot storage unit at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at the Town Office.

Rick and Guy Collins have applied to build a commercial storage building behind Collins Enterprises at 445 US Route 2 East, Code Enforcement Officer Paul Montague said.

The board will also continue with a findings of fact on the preliminary application for the Cottages at Wilson Lake subdivision, he said. They’ll review a list of requirements needed.

Developer Harris Golf is seeking a waiver of the need for a 20-foot road as required by the town ordinance for the subdivision, he said.

Country Club Road, the proposed access to the seven-lot subdivision, is less than the required 20 feet and runs through the golf course on the Weld Road. The land was intended to either be a golf course or become conservation land with a 50-foot right of way for the private road, he said.
