AUBURN — Auburn Public Library’s 2013 kids summer reading program will have a kick-off party and free family magic show by Conjuring Carroll from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 17, in the Androscoggin Community Room.
Juice and cookies will be available.
Readers and listeners will set their own goals of how many books they hope to read or listen to this summer. Children will keep a log of titles they read and can include any type of book, magazine or newspaper. Small incentives will be provided to help them reach their goal.
At the end of the program, children who read or listen to at least 10 books can choose a gift paperback book to keep.
Children can register for the summer reading program starting Monday, June 10, in the Children’s Department or at the party on June 17.
