NEW GLOUCESTER — Voters on Tuesday re-elected Selectmen Steve Libby and Joshua McHenry by votes of 458 and 413, respectively.
It’s Libby’s sixth term; McHenry’s second.
Their challengers, Fire and Rescue Chief Gary Sacco and Stephen Hathorne, received 291 and 176 votes, respectively.
Elected for three-year terms on the school board were Chairman Alan Rich and newcomer Amy Arata.
SAD 15 voters in Gray and New Gloucester approved the $22 million budget for 2013-14 by a total vote of 929-420. The New Gloucester tally was 570-219. Gray’s was 359-201.
Last month, 80 voters approved the 17-article school budget warrant. Tuesday’s vote validated that action.
