LEWISTON — A Funeral Mass honoring the life of Dominique N. Dick was celebrated on Tuesday, June 11, at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Lionel Chouinard celebrated the mass and recited committal prayers at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Lisbon. At the beginning of the mass, Dominique’s nieces, Noella Labbe and Debbie Boucher, placed the pall on his casket, which commemorated his baptism into new life. The first reading was read by Dominique’s son-in-law, Nate Parent, and the Prayer of the Faithful was read by his niece, Ann Lessard. The offertory was brought to the altar by his in-laws, Edward and Pauline Lafrance. Following the committal prayers, military honors from the U.S. Navy played Taps and presented our country’s flag to Dominique’s wife, Rita Dick. The pallbearers, Jack Lachance, Dave Wilson, Bill King, Armand E. Marcouillier, Alan Lachance and Rodney Gagnon, were members of the American Legion Post 158 of Lisbon. Following the services, all in attendance were invited for a reception of fellowship at the American Legion Hall in Lisbon. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
