AUBURN — Claudette “Yve” Routhier, 79, died Wednesday, June 12, at the Hospice House in Auburn, surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of Mexico.
Born in Rumford on Jan. 17, 1934, she was a daughter of Hector and Jeanne (Lefonde) Bouffard and Albina Razzano. She was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford. She worked as a bank teller for Casco Bank, Merrill Trust, Merchants National and Key Bank. She was a communicant of the Parish of the Holy Savior. She enjoyed camping, knitting, jewelry making, spending time with her family and playing Marjhong on the computer.
She was married in Rumford on June 16, 1956, to Alfred Routhier.
She is survived by five daughters, Cheryl Worrey and husband, Bruce, of Windham, Pamela Bird and husband, Greg, of Andover, Mass., Laurie Gerard and husband, Kempton, of Poland, Lisa Cundiff and husband, Dan, of Illinois and Kimberly Erskine and husband, Peter, of South Bristol; two brothers, William Bouffard and his wife, Bettina, of Rumford and Robert Bouffard of Ellsworth; a sister, Louise Moses of Westbrook; 12 grandchildren, Christopher, Michelle and Daniel Bradbury, Jessica, Emily and Samuel Bird, Cassandra and Chelsea Gerard, Sean Cundiff, Chauncy, Carly and Caleb Erskine and Kelsea and AJ Cundiff; and two great-grandchildren, Ella and Collin Bradbury.
