MILAN, Mich. — Emma Hubscher, 71, of Milan, Mich., died March 24.
She was born in Turner, Oct. 24, 1941, to Thelma and Harry Lowell.
She as an avid quilt maker and seamstress and enjoyed creating and giving away quilts to family and friends. She never missed a quilt show at the Augusta Civic Center.
Along with her husband, Emma owned and operated York Auto Electric on Dexter Ave. in Milan, Mich. For 20 years.
She is survived by two children, James Treece of Toledo, Ohio and Robin (Les) Sokolik of Saline, Mich.; eight grandchildren, Shauna (Rykk), Sabrina, Sky, Charles, Allison (John), John, Elizabeth and Joseph; one great-grandchild, Bailee; two brothers, David (Anne) Lowell of Auburn, Hibbert (Bonnie) Lowell of Ypsilanti, Mich.; one sister, Phyllis (John) Glendenning, Farmingdale; and one sister-in-law, Rose Lowell, from Belleville, Mich.
She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, James and Parker; and husband, Charles.
