JAY — Selectmen are looking for anyone interested in filling the remaining term of former RSU 73 Director Mary Redmond-Luce. They plan to appoint someone to fill it.
Redmond-Luce resigned in May. Her term on the RSU 73 Board of Directors expires in June 2014.
It was too late to take out nomination papers for the June 11 election, Town Clerk Ronda Palmer said previously.
Selectmen have the right to appoint a resident to serve on the board for the rest of the term.
