Divas Do Good is the charitable component of the Vermont Comedy Divas, putting on performances to benefit organizations with a social mission. Half of all ticket sales will benefit SAVES, Franklin County’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services.

The Vermont Comedy Divas were founded by Josie Leavitt in 2006 as a way to showcase female comics. Since then, the Divas have performed all over New England for a myriad of groups and organizations including the Red Hat Society, Brain Cancer Research Foundation, Vermont Works for Women, and the Women’s Business Owners Network. The Divas are the nation’s only all-female touring comedy troupe.

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services’ mission is to prevent and eliminate sexual violence and promote healing and empowerment for people of all genders and ages who are affected by rape, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, stalking and sexual harassment. An adult-only event, doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at DDG Booksellers, 193 Broadway and at Up Front and Pleasant Gourmet, 157 Front St.
