FARMINGTON — Pie, musical entertainers and storytellers will highlight Saturday’s Pie on the Porch at the Holman Parish House, 227 Main St.
The Old South Church Pie On The Porch planning committee has announced the lineup for the jam-packed afternoon of musical entertainers and storytelling to be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 22.
Mistress of Ceremonies Chris Poulson will kick off the afternoon at 1 p.m. and then turn the microphone over to the duet of Jane Parker and Laura Grams with Mike Sherrod to follow.
Next to perform will be Donna Campion followed by storytellers Phyllis Blackstone and Deb Freedman at about 2 p.m.
Mark Phillips will take center stage for a set then turn the mics over to Thad Gunther and Nolin Rogers. The boys of the Walking With Horses Band, Zack Kendall and Seth Wegner, will offer up a set followed by Ellie Buckland and her dad, Andy Buckland.
At about 4 p.m. storytellers Blackstone and Freedman will again take the stage.
The last hour of Pie On The Porch will feature Laurel Fraley, The Achords with Mike Fraley and Brent Laflin. Poulson will close out the talented lineup of performers.
The cost of admission to Pie On The Porch is $4 and includes a slice of homemade pie or Front Porch Cafe’s famous bread pudding and beverage. A la mode is 50 cents extra. Take-out is available. In case of rain, the event will take place in the Old South Church vestry next door.
