MEXICO — The Mexico High School Class of 1949 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Dick’s Restaurant.
Members and friends are invited.
Country Trio plays June 27
MEXICO — The Country Trio Band will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Mexico Recreation Park, Route 17, weather permitting.
Bring a comfortable chair or blanket, a picnic supper and a beach umbrella to protect yourself from the sun, for an evening of country and bluegrass music.

Patriotic Sing-Along
MEXICO — A Patriotic Sing-Along Concert will be presented at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Mexico Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, the “Green Church,” at 163 Main St.
The program has been prepared for the community by the church pianist, Jo Ellen Winslow. There will be no admission charge, but a love offering will be collected and shared by the GRAMPS lunch program and the GRAMPA Food Cupboard.
Homemade pie and coffee will be served following the program. All are invited.
Scouts plan Lady Bug Club
RUMFORD — Girl Scouts of Maine will offer the Lady Bug Club Series in the Rumford/Mexico area.
The fun-filled four-week program will be held mornings once a week in July, is free and open to all girls who are entering grades K-3.
Girls will learn about the wonderful world of flowers, responsibility and the power of team. Through games, activities and crafts, girls will explore flowers, plants and make new friends.
Week 1 of the program will be “Ladybugs, Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden.” Following weeks will be “Ladybug, How Does Your Garden Grow?,” “Busy Bees” and “Garden Party.”
Space is limited to 15 girls. Preregistration is necessary by July 5.
