LISBON FALLS — Police say they’ve arrested the man who wore a gray horror mask to hold up the Big Apple at knife-point last month.

Joshua Philbrook, 23, of Lisbon Falls was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of robbery, Lisbon Detective Bill Tapley said. Philbrook was still at the Androscoggin County Jail on Saturday, held on $5,000 cash bail.

Tapley said evidence at the scene linked Philbrook to the May 29 robbery. He’s accused of walking into the store, pulling out a knife and demanding money from a clerk before fleeing on foot with cash.

Survelliance photos released to the public showed a person in a black sweatshirt and a distorted gray mask.

Philbrook was arrested without incident at his home at 14 Main St.
