LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host a seminar for business owners and prospective business owners, “Hats, Hats & More Hats, The countless functions and responsibilities of the business owner.” The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St.

The seminar will look at the myriad functions and responsibilities of the business owner. For the prospective owner who is coming from a “job” this can be an eye opener. With exercises and real-life examples, the course discusses the ebb and flow of the various functions and skills required in order to assure a positive outcome for your business. The goal is to have attendees consider their strengths and weaknesses as business owners and how they will deal with issues like mastering a new skill, hiring someone who can master the skill or working on weaknesses and hiring to complete a team of individuals with complimentary skill sets.
