1947 – 2013

AUBURN — Judith F. Liles, 65, of Turner, passed away on Thursday, June 20, at the Hospice House with her family by her side.

She was born in Chicago, Ill. on Sept. 6th, 1947, to parents Elmer and Marie (Long) Kramer.

Mom, you are the best mother any child could ever have asked for or wanted. You stood by us kids, no matter what, and when we needed your guidance or just a hug to make things seem a little better, you were always there for us — no matter what we did, right or wrong — you would be there for us. If it was a shoulder to cry on or to have our asses chewed, you were there. No mother in this world could ever fill the shoes you have worn, even though you have very tiny feet.

I have always tried to do what would make you proud of me and be happy with what I have done. I have failed a time or two on you, but you were always there to help pick me up and get me going again. You could make me laugh on the worst of days and set me in place on the best of days.

I pray that where you are going is a happy place, only filled with laughter and good times. I hope you look down upon us smile, and tell everyone we are your family; we are your kids.

Jack, your husband of 39 years; your children, Jackson, David, Katie, Jessica, Alexis, Dawn, Shawn and Amanda; and your 14 grandchildren will be OK. The road might get bumpy here and there, but like you have always said, “hold your head up, and think of the good times. We will be OK — we will work through it and be there for each other, just like you have been there for us.

I pray that you finally get to rest in peace and happiness, and that the pain goes away. I love you, Mom. Always and forever, my mom you will be.

Rest in peace, Mom. I love you.
