TURNER — Announcement is made of the engagement of Sharon Buck and Chad Hood, both of Clinton.

Miss Buck is the daughter of Raymond and Mary Everlith and is a 1992 graduate of Lawrence High School in Fairfield. She is also a 1997 graduate of KVTC in Fairfield with a degree in business accounting. She is currently an on-air personality at radio station WEBB, B98.5 in Augusta. She is also the frontwoman of her band, Sharon Buck and Dixon Road.

Mr. Hood is the son of Dana and Jackie Hood of Turner and is a 1997 graduate of Leavitt Area High School in Turner. He is currently employed by the United States Postal Service as a CCA. He is the frontman of his band, Cold Blue Steel.

A June 14, 2014, wedding is planned at their home in Clinton.
