RAYMOND — Cecile Anne (Gurney) Plummer of Raymond, entered into rest the 21st day of June.

She was born March 15, 1928, in Waterville, where she grew up and attended Mount Merici Academy. Cecile worked at Cole Farms Restaurant in Gray for more than 35 years.

Cecile was an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved her family and always placed the needs of others first. She enjoyed travel and meeting people, but most of all loved her grandchildren and cats. Cecile touched the lives of many and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Cecile was the beloved wife of Arnold Plummer and devoted mother of Freeman Lewis of South Paris, Tim Lewis of Oxford, Todd Lewis of Raymond, Kristie (Lewis) Hotham of New Gloucester, Scott Lewis of Fullerton, Calif., Heidi (Hill) Hurdle of Evans, Ga., and caring “Grammy” to 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
