AUBURN — Dan and Carol White-St. Pierre have built a horse racing game specifically to raise funds for the William J. Rogers Post, American Legion, baseball team 153. Races begin at 7 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the post home, 71 South Main St.

Recently the William J. Rogers, baseball team swept Pastime, 1-0 and 3-2, at Pettengill Park.

“They have an excellent coach, Troy Crane and the players are dedicated and committed not only to the sport but also in helping veterans,” stated Paul R. Bernard, Post 153 commander. “The ball players have helped elderly veterans by raking and mowing and are now planning to assist post veterans clean up the Auburn Plains Cemetery in July.”
