LISBON — A Down East Energy oil truck went off River Road and rolled onto its side Tuesday morning.

Driver Lloyd Stubbs, 57, of Lewiston was not hurt, Lisbon police officer Darin Estes said.

The delivery truck drifted off the right shoulder and rolled onto its side, but no oil was spilled, he said.

A representative of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection supervised the transfer of 2,400 gallons of fuel to another truck.

Estes said damage to the 2010 Freightliner truck was about $2,500 in the 7:11 a.m. crash. No charges were filed.
