PARIS — The Paris Public Library’s annual used book sale will be held the Saturdays of July 27, Aug. 3 and Aug. 10.

The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on all three days, and is being held again at the Old Paris Farmers’ Union building, at the corner of Main Street (Route 26) and Skilling Avenue.

On July 27 and Aug. 3, hardcover books will sell for $1 each, trade paperbacks cost 50 cents, mass market paperbacks will be 25 cents and VHS tapes will be 50 cents. Aug. 10 will feature a bag sale where a standard plastic grocery bag may be filled with any sale items for $1.

The money raised at the sale helps support the library’s children’s book collection. Last year’s sale raised more than $2,900.

For more information, contact the library by calling 743-6994 or email [email protected]. Donations towards the annual book sale may be dropped off at the library any time when it is open and are welcome year-round. Pick-ups of contributions can be arranged by contacting the library’s staff.
