MEXICO — Marguerite (Kidder) Fuller, 83, of Middle Avenue, Mexico, went to be with her Lord, Friday, June 28, after a brief illness.
Born on Granite Street in Ridlonville on Nov. 28, 1929, she was the daughter of Elwood and Ethel Kidder. She attended Mexico schools and graduated from Mexico High School in 1947. She played basketball and softball in high school.
She was married in 1947 to Leslie Fuller Jr. Marguerite was a longtime member of the Junior Mothercraft Club. When her sons were young, she was a Cub Scout den mother. She was a member of the Mexico First Baptist Church for more than 40 years, volunteering in different capacities. She spent many summers at the family camp on Webb Lake in Weld. For the last 20 years, she and her husband divided their time between Texas and Maine. She loved watching the Little League baseball and Softball World Series every August. An avid reader, Marguerite was a faithful member of the Cafe Book Club at the Mexico Library for many years. She passed that love of reading on to her children. She always said that one should learn something new every day.
She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Ruth; and her brother, George.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leslie Fuller of Mexico; her children, Lynn and husband, Rusty Young, of Homestead, Fla., Andrew and wife, Cathy, of Westport Island, Bruce and wife, Mary Ann, of Lake Dallas, Texas, Kirk and, wife Karen of Springtown, Texas, and Lisa and husband, Tim Yoder, of Langhorne, Pa. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Earl of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.
