STANDISH — Schoolhouse Arts Center will present “The Music Man” from July 18-Aug. 4. “The Music Man” by Meredith Wilson and Franklin Lacey is the story of con man Harold Hill who poses as a boys’ band organizer and leader and sells band instruments and uniforms to naive townsfolk before skipping town with the cash. When Harold falls in love with the prim librarian Marian, he risks being caught to win her love. “The Music Man” is directed by Bruce Avery. Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday performances are at 5 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for students and seniors.
