AUBURN — Dorilda A. Cyr, 93, formerly of 36 Hilltop Ave., Lewiston, died Friday, June 28, at Schooner Estates, where she had been a resident for the past five months.

She was born in Van Buren, March 24, 1920, the daughter of Albert and Agnes Thibeault Albert. Educated in Van Buren and local schools, she married Joseph Cyr in the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul on Feb. 20, 1939. Mr. Cyr passed away in 2009.

Survivors include a brother, Clifford Albert of Anaheim, Calif.; a sister, Gladys Lussier of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Yvette Albert of Fullerton, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Lucille Judge and Gloria Mertin; and three brothers, Phil, Larry and Roland Albert.

Dorilda’s family thanks the staff of Schooner Estates for the loving care they gave her during her final months.
