Maine Family Federal Credit Union defeated Isaacson & Raymond, 10-2, to capture the South Lewiston Little League Major’s Division Softball championship. Emily Mousseau pitched a complete game, giving up two runs while striking out 13 batters. MFFCU was led offensively with two doubles by Maddy Foster, and doubles by Mousseau and Jordyn Rubin. Isaacson & Raymond was led by Abby Nadeau, Maddie Mercier, Rylee Mae Swan and Sierra Connor-Schade. I&R had a threat going in the fourth inning, but the threat ended with a great double play taht started with a catch by Jillian Pelletier and a strong relay throw to Abby Reynolds. MFFCU had a group combining veteran players, rising stars, and a few rookie players.
The team included: Emily Mousseau, Jordyn Rubin, Abby Reynolds, Maddie Foster, Lauren Foster, Shaelyn Poulin, Marissa Larock, Jillian Pelletier, Mackenzie Richard, Charlotte Cloutier, and Rose Codair. The team was coached by Walter Reynolds, Bill Mousseau, Mike Cloutier, and Amanda Ingerson.
