LEWISTON — Women Unlimited will offer a free, two-week construction boot camp from July 29 to Aug. 9 in Lewiston.

Classes, which are offered by the National Center for Construction Education and Research, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those attending will get instruction in: hand and power tools, construction math, OSHA — 10 basic safety, introduction to blueprint reading, job readiness skills, a one-day welding workshop and possibly a site tour, if time permits.

Attendees must be willing to commit to the full class schedule to receive a certificate of completion. Only serious applicants should register. Students must wear appropriate clothing and wear closed-toed shoes.
