I find the ongoing behavior of Gov. Paul LePage to be deplorable and abysmal and I am appalled.

He repeatedly says he is against abuse, but he is supporting and condoning it by his actions, behavior and language. That is deplorable to me as a woman and an abuse survivor.

Just because he may have been abused is not an excuse or license to use such language or attitude and behavior toward anyone. Perhaps he needs some serious mental health therapy.

The governor is a role model for Maine children. Young people look up to leaders. They are listening and mimic what leaders do or say.

I am offended by the way LePage handles himself — his lack of self-control and poor public decorum. An apology is not enough. It needs to be followed by changes in attitude and behavior, followed by improvements in handling Maine’s business.
