LIVERMORE — Samantha L. Leadbetter, 43, a resident of Hathaway Hill Road, Livermore, died unexpectedly, Thursday, July 4, at her home.
She was born Oct. 29, 1969, in Farmington, the daughter of Charles R. York and Alana Ladd. She attended Mount Blue High School in Farmington, and later received her GED.
On July 18, 1998. she married Kirk Leadbetter. Sam worked and helped manage Castonguay Meats in Livermore. She enjoyed painting, drawing, hunting, and fishing at Moosehead Lake, but especially loved spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Kirk “Lead” Leadbetter of Livermore; her son, Jerry Sweetser Jr. of Wilton; her daughter, Josie Leadbetter of Livermore; her mother, Alana Ladd of Wilton; three sisters, Mary Wells and her husband, Scott, of Wilton, Sandra Gordon and her husband, Tim, of Livermore and Anne Gray and her husband, Kevin, of Wilton; half sisters, Lynda Lary and her companion, Wayne Kennedy, of West Paris and Amy White of New Hampshire; several nieces and nephews; and her Castonguay Meats family of Livermore.
She was predeceased by her father, Charles York.
