LIVERMORE — Authorities on Tuesday identified the body found in woods off Route 4 Monday as that of Nathaniel Paradis, 29, of Livermore Falls.
His death was ruled a suicide and no autopsy is expected, Lt. Glen Holt of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department said.
Paradis had been the focus of a missing person investigation by the Livermore Falls Police Department since June, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
Workers from Lucas Tree Service found the body Monday about 100 feet into the woods over an embankment and notified authorities shortly before 2:30 p.m. The scene was near the NorthStar Ambulance Station on Route 4.
Paradis’ relatives were notified Monday night that his remains had been recovered.
