WATERVILLE — Area residents were among 502 seniors who graduated from Colby College on May 26, receiving bachelor of arts degrees at the bicentennial-year commencement.

Brittney N. Bell of Poland, the daughter of Nancy Bell of Poland, majored in biology and is a graduate of Poland Regional High School.

Makayla K. Brown of Carrabassett Valley, the daughter of Charles and Kathryn Brown of Naples, majored in economics and is a graduate of Carrabassett Valley Academy.

Harper R. Burke of Wilton, the daughter of Michael Burke and Patricia O’Donnell of Wilton, majored in philosophy and is a graduate of Mount Blue High School.

Jennie A. Buskin of Brownfield, the daughter of Richard and Helaine Buskin of Brownfield, majored in mathematics and physics and is a graduate of Fryeburg Academy.

Laura Crowley of Wilton, the daughter of Diane Crowley of Wilton and James Crowley of Wiscasset, majored in biology and is a graduate of Mount Blue High School.

Courtney L. Erskine of Turner, the daughter of James and Lisa Erskine of Turner, majored in human development (independent major) and is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School.
