Bands to play at scenic overlook

RANGELEY — God of Wonders 2013 will take place starting at noon Saturday, July 13, across from the Noyes Scenic Overlook, Route 17. Admission is free.

Music will be provided by the Founded Trio and Band, Angela and Josh from The Elect, Blue Mirth Band, Country Trio, Fishers of Men, Troy Pingree, Robbie Schmersal and Tammy Schmersal-Burgess.

Sons of Italy bylaw meeting

RUMFORD — Sons of Italy will have a special meeting to vote on the bylaw change at 6 p.m. Monday, July 15, at the lodge in Smith Crossing.

Stephens High Class of 1963

FARMINGTON — Stephens High School Class of 1963, family and friends are invited to Harvest House in Farmington at noon Friday, July 19.

Treasures, food sale July 20

RUMFORD — The Village Improvement Society will hold their annual treasures and food sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, at The Meeting House.

Winnie Barker of VIS said they pick up items all year for this event. Besides the collected items, there will be food tables, clothing, furniture, books and more.

Proceeds from this event go towards improvements of the 1828 building and towards a scholarship given to a Mountain Valley High School senior.
