1989 – 2013

LEWISTON — Tyler John Belanger, 23, died on Thursday, July 11, in Lewiston.

He was born in Lewiston, Aug. 18, 1989, the son of Roland R. and Tina M. Belanger. He was educated in Lewiston schools. He was employed as a mason tender at Charles H. Roberts Masonry.

He loved hunting, fishing, family and friends. He spent many hours fishing with his brothers, Nathan and Dylan, and cousin, Brady, at the mouth of the Androscoggin River for stripers and Moosehead Lake for salmon and trout. They especially enjoyed wintertime ice fishing on Sabbathday Lake — at their favorite place and time of the year.

Tyler was generous in many ways, especially in his love for his family. He shared many long talks and walks while hunting and fishing with his loved ones.

He was proud of helping others whom he spent time with. Tyler would give anyone he loved everything he had, even when he did not have much — he was always there to help. He was a handsome young man with a contagious smile and laugh.
