A free vegan cooking class will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7. Cheryl Farley, host of the Ready Set Go Healthy television show, will share her trade secrets on how to make delicious plant-based meals, sure to please the palate and the heart.

Farley got her start in the health and fitness world through her father, who operated Jack LaLanne Health Clubs in California. At 18 she began teaching exercise classes and was soon on her way to learning and practicing lifestyle changes that focused on preventing disease rather than simply treating it.

Her passion for healthy living has lead her to teaching cooking schools in various communities in addition to working with other health professionals within the “Reversing Diabetes Seminars” which are operated by Weimar Institute. She has helped others to discover how their lives can be changed by following the 8 Laws of Good Health.
