RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Eileen M. Chiasson was celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, July 29, at Parish of the Holy Savior.

The Rev. Robert Vaillancourt was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist, accompanied by the church choir. Music selections were “Wind Beneath My Wings,” “J’irai La Voir Un Jour,” “Ave Maria” and “Fly Like A Bird.”

The Old Testament was proclaimed by grandson, Tyler Chiasson. The New Testament was proclaimed by grandson, Ben Chiasson. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by granddaughter, Marina Slover. Offertory gifts were presented by granddaughters, Tara Chiasson, Alyssa Chiasson, Genevieve Chiasson, Emma Chiasson, Riley Chiasson, Chloe Ennis, Delany Ennis, Samantha Hanson, Samantha LaChance and Andrea Chiasson. Personal reflections were shared by Kevin Soucy.

Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were Deven, Benjamin, Timothy, Tyler and Cooper Chiasson. A reception was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
