LEWISTON — Kenneth M. Penton, 67, of Auburn, died July 27, at Russell Park.

He was born in Florida on Dec. 28, 1945, son of Harry and Euphemia Penton. He was a veteran of the Navy and worked many years for Jerry’s Cleaning Service.

He married Helen Hall on Aug. 4, 1989, until her death on May 1, 2002. He was a private person, stubborn in his ways, while displaying a sense of humor.

He passed with loving family and a special friend, Darren Kemp, by his side. He will be sadly missed by those whose lives he had a special part in.

He is survived by a sister, Faye; son, Louis and spouse, Charlene; daughter, Julie; and grandson, Joseph.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen; his parents; and siblings.
