LEWISTON — Art Walk Lewiston Auburn is now accepting submissions for the August Art Walk. Deadline for submissions is Thursday, Aug. 15. The Art Walk will take place from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, throughout downtown Lisbon Street.
In the past, work has been displayed in local businesses such as The Vault, Lewiston Public Library, Forage Market, Local Grind, and J. Dostie Jewelers as well as in pop-up galleries.
This is a chance to contribute to the revitalization of the arts community downtown, to sell your work and gain a new audience.
Work must be submitted online at artwalklewistonauburn.com in order to be considered. All submission fees have been waived, so the submission process is free. We are looking for art that is hang ready — easy to put on a hook — or display ready — sculptures, ceramics, woodwork. Artists can submit one to 15 pieces for display.
