SABATTUS — The American Legion Hall recently transported back into the early 1960s, a time of big hair, narrow ties, when all gentlemen wore hats.

The Sabattus American Legion Auxiliary hosted the event and a ticket and period clothing were a must to gain entrance.

Over 60 locals turned out in their finest early 1960s’ attire. While period music played in the main hall and classic films played on the large flat screen television, young and old helped raise funds for local post scholarships, veterans services and community events supported by the post.

Andre and Danielle Marquis were host and hostess for the event.

More photos of the event, and other post information, can be seen at americanlegionpost135.sabattus.net under “News, Photos and Videos.”
