WEST GARDINER — Peggy I. Barrett Moulton, 69, of West Gardiner, passed away due to a long illness on Wednesday, July 31, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She fought courageously.
Peggy was born on Aug. 16, 1943, the daughter of Clyde and Virginia Davis. As a child, Peggy loved to go flying with her father. She spent many years selling Avon and working in restaurants.
Peggy enjoyed dancing, yard sales, cooking, shopping, country music and crocheting.
She is survived by her son, Ed Barrett and his wife, Charlotte, of Lisbon Falls; daughter, Cathy Barrett and her partner, Clint Mason, of China; son, Michael Barrett and his partner, Jenn Soule, of Topsham; and her brothers, Thomas Davis and his wife, Linda, of Bowdoin and Ronnie Davis of Florida. Peggy is also survived by her grandchildren, Amber, Danielle, Giles, Jordan and Vincent, as well as several great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Darrel Barrett; and her mother, father and brother, Steven Davis.
