OXFORD — “Rome: Paul and the Underground Church” is the theme of Vacation Bible School starting Monday at Oxford Advent Christian Church on Route 26.

Children are invited to attend the school daily from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, Aug. 5 to 9. There will be stories and plays, music, games, crafts and snacks. A closing program will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, for parents and friends to see the children share what they learned. A barbecue will be held afterward.

The Vacation Bible School is free and open to children in grades kindergarten to six.

Preregister by calling the church office at 743-7310; or register from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Monday at the church.
