LEWISTON — The wedding of Allison D. Whalen and Nicholas R. Roberge was held on Jan. 26, at Holy Family Church. The Rev. Paul Dumais officiated the ceremony.

Mrs. Roberge is the daughter of James and Diane Whalen of Lewiston. Mr. Roberge is the son of Roger and Lorraine Roberge also of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a taffeta gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice embellished with pearls, rhinestones, bugle beads and a ballroom skirt with a side pickup and a cathedral train. In her hair, she wore a rhinestone snowflake comb and double cathedral veils to compliment the winter wonderland theme.

Ashley Edwards, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Roy Adams, Melissa Guignard and Michelle Dunham, friends of the bride, and Kymberly Roberge, sister-in-law of the bridegroom. Charlotte Edwards, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.

Adam Roberge, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Matthew White, Todd Perreault and Matthew Conner, friends of the bridegroom, and Bradley Edwards, brother-in-law of the bride. Owen Landry, friend of the bridegroom, was the sign bearer.

A winter wonderland themed reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn. Grandparents of the bridegroom, Louis and Juliette Roberge of Lewiston, were honored at the ceremony for celebrating 67 years of marriage. The couple traveled to Jamaica for their honeymoon and are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Lewiston High School and of Capilo Institute in 2007 as a licensed cosmetologist. She is currently employed as manager/head stylist at Tagli Hair and Nail Salon in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Lewiston High School, the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2006 with a degree in automotive technology, and Central Maine Community College in 2007 with an associate degree in automotive technology. He is currently employed as an automotive technician at Charlie’s Auto Mall in Augusta.
