RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Bernadette Arsenault was celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, at Parish of the Holy Savior.

The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist, accompanied by the choir. Music selections were “Wind Beneath My Wings,” “Ave Maria,” “J’irai La Voir Un Jour” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.”

The Old Testament was proclaimed by son-in-law, John Kelley. The New Testament was proclaimed by daughter-in-law, Kathy Arsenault. Offertory gifts were presented by great-grandchildren Eric, Brian and Adam Kelley. Personal reflections were shared by son, Donald Arsenault, and daughter, Geraldine Warren. Granddaughter Dawn Maceda read the poem entitled “When I Must Leave You.”

Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were Scott Kelley, Michael Kelley, Brian Dawson, Kevin Robichaud, Craig Robichaud and Gary Warren. A reception served by the Daughters of Isabella was in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
