CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — Ruby Chase DeCosta, 97, of Crawfordsville, Ind., died Aug. 26, 2004.

A longtime Buckfield resident, Ruby was born on April 29, 1907, in Hodgdon.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Chase Howe of Columbia, Ky.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by the Rev. William B. Chase and John F. DeCosta.
