1943 – 2013
TOGUS — Warren “Butch” Keith Clark, 70, a resident of Turner and Florida, died Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Veterans’ Hospital in Togus.
He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 4, 1943, the son of Harold G. Clark and Elsie (Bard) Clark. He attended school at Edward Little High School in Auburn. He joined the U.S. Marines and served during Vietnam.
On May 24, 1980, he married his wife of 31 years, Nancy Robbins. She passed away Oct. 24, 2011. He married Kathleen Raymond on Dec. 24, 2012, and they lived in Florida.
Butch worked a variety of jobs throughout the years, most recently in the construction trade. He was a member of the American Legion Post 111 in Turner, DAV, Frank L. Mitchell VFW Post 3335, American Legion Bike Riders, VFW Bike Riders and United Bikers of Maine. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Clark of Turner and Florida; two daughters, Charlene and Carlene of Mississippi; his son, James Clark of Virginia Beach, Va.; stepdaughter, Kelly Smith of Florida; two stepsons, Alex Wegrzyniak of Pennsylvania and Adam Wegrzyniak of Florida; four step-grandchildren, Ryland, Brooklyn, Ethan and Avery; stepchildren from his previous marriage, Scott Bryant of Virginia and Tessie Black of Fayette, plus five step-grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Joseph Clark of Leeds, Helen Melanson of New Gloucester, Paul Clark of Lewiston, Roger Clark of Auburn, Pamela Clark of Lewiston and Theresa Walters of Auburn; and special adopted couple, Ron and Angie Rines of Durham.
