1929 – 2013

AUBURN — Albert L. Lagueux, 83, of Sabattus, died at Clover Manor in Auburn. 

He was born on Dec. 19, 1929, in Lewiston. 

Albert worked for Hudson Bus line for many years, driving a school bus. Later, he worked for the town of Sabattus, doing different jobs until he retired 18 years ago.

Albert enjoyed spending time with his family. He also loved music and enjoyed to listen to the groups that came to Clover Manor to play and entertain the residents.

He was survived by a very loved companion, Janette Richardson of Turner; four children, Richard Lagueux and wife, Nancy, of Auburn, Rena Wilbur of Lewiston, David Lagueux and wife, Louise, of Turner, and Raymond Lagueux of Lewiston; one sister, Doris Simard of Lewiston; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by wife, Cora Lagueux; brother, Roger Lagueux; and grandaughter, Kimberly Lagueux.

The family would like to thank the staff at Clover Manor for the excellent care they gave Albert while he was a patient there. They would also like to thank Androscoggin Home Health for the time they spent to make their father feel comfortable in his final hours.
