Michaud rep to visit with residents
PHILLIPS — Rep. Mike Michaud has announced that his staff will be available to meet with residents on Thursday, Aug. 15, on issues they are facing with federal agencies and to discuss services available through his office.
Matt Dubois from Michaud’s Lewiston office will be available from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Phillips Town Office, 15 Russell St. Those who have questions or would like to set up an appointment (not required) are encouraged to contact Dubois at 782-3704.
Lions Club is planning yard sale
JAY — A Jay-Livermore Falls Lions Club yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24,. at Jay Plaza parking area between the Dollar Tree store and McDonalds.
Crafters and vendors are welcome. There will be no food sales; Lions Club will have food. Cost is $25 for a parking spot or three for $60. Vendors will supply their own tables. For a spot, call Lynn at 645-2786.
Festival of music in Jay for three nights
JAY — A Frantasia Festival of Out Music and Arts will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 22, 23 and 24, at Otis Ventures, 1 Mill St.
