NORWAY — David and Mary Longstaff of Norway are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Michelle L. Longstaff of Saco, to Samuel B. Haverinen of Saco, son of Daniel and Julie Haverinen of South Paris.
The future bride is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in social work and a minor in psychology. She received a master’s degree in social work in 2002 from Boston University in Boston. She is employed at St. Andre’s Group Home in Biddeford.
The future bridegroom is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and a 2006 graduate of Goddard College in Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in art. He is employed at Bar Lola in Portland and Sunday River Ski Resort.
The wedding will be held on Nov. 2 at Season’s Events and Conference Center in Portland.
