THE FORKS (AP) — A New Hampshire woman needed treatment at a Maine hospital after a rafting accident on the Kennebec River.
The Maine Warden Service said 52-year-old Patricia Guevin of Kingston, N.H., suffered head and facial injuries when she fell into the water early Sunday afternoon in an area of the river in The Forks known as Dead Stream Rapids.
She was flown to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor where she treated and released.
