WOODSTOCK — Congressman Mike Michaud will be the guest of honor at the Oxford County Democrats annual summer barbecue fundraiser Sunday, Aug. 25, at the University of Maine 4-H Camp and Learning Center on Lake Christopher in Bryant Pond village. 

Michaud recently announced he is running for governor.

State Sen. Emily Cain of Orono, a candidate for the 2nd Congressional District, will be attending. 

The event will begin with a social time on the waterfront followed by dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, salads and dessert in the dining hall, with remarks by guests and Democrat officeholders.
