SOUTH PARIS — You have been invited to dine at Hope Haven Mansion on Hope Haven Island off the coast of Maine. Our hostess will join us shortly. Well, maybe not. It appears she has been murdered.

Oxford Hills Music and Performing Arts Association’s newest dinner theater production, “Accent on Murder,” written and directed by Kenn Sawyer, will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, and Saturday, Sept. 21, at the First Congregational Church of South Paris, East Main Street, across from the old Fox school.

Featured players include OHMPAA regulars Cindy Reedy as the Boston socialite, Jenn St. Pierre as the nun, Rachael Leighton as the German doctor, Elton Cole as the English aristocrat and Ian Griffith as the butler. Rounding out the cast are newcomers Kristen Short as the French maid and Chris Damon as the detective.

By the end of the evening you’ll be convinced that any one of them could have “dunnit.” Or not.

Tickets for “Accent on Murder” are on sale at Books ‘N’ Things, Main Street, Norway. The cost, $20 per person, is for the dinner/theater combination only. All tickets must be purchased in advance.
