LEWISTON — The Lewiston CareerCenter is hosting a job fair from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 5, at its building on 5 Mollison Way. Forty employers will be hiring.

Employers include Adecco, Argo Marketing, Assistance Plus, Bonney Staffing, Carbonite, Care and Comfort, Great Falls Marketing, Harvest Hill Farms, Home Resources of ME, Kelly Services and Living Innovations. Also, Maine Community Health Options, Maine Staffing, MAS Home Care, Merrymeeting Behavioral Health Care, Mölnlycke-Rynel Health Care and NAMI Maine Family Respite Program. Also, New Balance, Notify MD, O’Reilly Auto Parts, State of Maine Office of Child and Family Services, Superior Carriers, Support Solutions, Spurwink School, Time Warner Cable, U.S. Cellular, Veterans’ Inc., Wal-Mart and Xerox.

Attendees should bring a resume and, more important, should be prepared to have an “interview-like” conversation with employers to discuss skills, knowledge areas and abilities. Job seekers should also be dressed for an interview.

Interpreters are available but requests should be made in advance to the CareerCenter.
