- Auburn firefighters respond to an accident involving a taxi and a pickup truck at the intersection of Court and Mechanics Row on Sunday afternoon. According to Lt. Scott Watkins of the Auburn Police Department, Helen Berry of Lewiston was driving her cab at 12:44 p.m. when she fell asleep, crossing the center line and striking a stopped truck driven by Charlie Parnell from Lewiston. Watkins said Berry sustained minor injuries. Parnell was uninjured in the accident.
