SOUTH PARIS — Katey Branch is opening the doors to her Halls Pond Healing Arts Studio for massage therapy, yoga classes and a variety of health related workshops. The studio is off Route 119 at 253 Halls Pond Road, next to Halls Pond Gardens.

Branch has been practicing massage for 25 years. With a master’s degree in environmental education, she led graduate students on expeditions around the country for almost a decade, studying the health of the planet and people’s relationship to it. She is trained in Swedish, Esalen, neo-Reichian massage, Jin Shin acupressure, cranial sacral, manual lymphatic drainage and zero balancing. She often incorporates guided imagery into therapeutic bodywork sessions.

Branch is a Vinyasa yoga teacher trained through the Shala Institute of Yoga and is a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance.

Introductory and intermediate classes are available, as well as private sessions.

Halls Pond Healing Arts has a workshop series this fall, beginning in September. Everyone is welcome to attend but preregistration is strongly encouraged because space is limited. For more information contact Branch at 890-9622, or by email at: [email protected].
